Yep. A Cosmic Bitch-Slap is what it took to get me to leave my high-paying, high-visibility, high-pressure job working in the Hollywood film industry.

As a veteran of grueling hours, nonstop stress, ego-driven drama, endless excitement, and the pervasive pretentiousness of Hollywood, when I knew I was burnt out, I dropped out and ran away to lick my wounds.

On a lengthy global adventure, I saw that my time in Hollywood had left me with a mindset that embraced my worth and radiated confidence, and was why I trusted myself and my decisions, was fearless when facing uncertainty and risk, and was at ease being myself without needing to obsess over other people’s opinions.

The bitch-slapping was the universe’s way of opening my eyes to see what I’d kept ignoring by refusing to accept that I was enough just as I was, that I already had everything I needed to deal with whatever happened, and that authenticity was the lodestar guiding me through everything I encountered in life.

And I help people cultivate that hugely powerful mindset without having to go anywhere near Hollywood…

In 6 months of working with Jennifer, I stopped blaming them for who I am and discovered that asking why doesn’t really fix anything anything but asking what I can do and how I can do it makes a huge difference. She showed me how to take responsibility for creating what I desire in my life and identify the steps I can take to get there, which completely changed my perspective about who I am and what I’m capable of doing.

I’ve read tons of self-help books, listened to hours of podcasts, and always thought I was using all the stuff I’d learned, but I still lacked confidence - especially at work. Jennifer showed me how it was ok to acknowledge my accomplishments and not feel guilty talking about them, and it transformed my relationship with my boss who actually asked me where my new confidence came from! Working with her gave me an entirely new point of view about becoming what I want to be, as well as a genuinely confident attitude. What an amazing transformation!
