When I left my career working in the Hollywood film industry, I was burnt out, disillusioned, pissed off, and hurting. I bolted fully intending to leave it all behind me and never look back.
At the time, I didn’t get that Hollywood had given me a mindset that embraced unshakeable confidence that was the source of my ability to trust myself, to have no fear when facing uncertainty and risk, and to feel completely at ease being unapologetically authentic.
And over the following years, that mindset became the lodestar guiding me through an incredible life living and working around the world. People and cultures are diverse, but underlying the diversity is a sameness I find both comforting and disturbing.
Comforting in the sense that we all belong to the same human tribe and disturbing in the sense that we’re all plagued by the same issues – undervaluing ourselves, lacking confidence and trust in ourselves, and fear of showing our authentic selves.
After years of coaching and helping people transcend their human nature to regain their sovereignty, power, and creative abilities, I’ve seen that change and growth happen most easily when we’re given examples how others have navigated their own odyssey.
As a proponent of unity consciousness and its inherent synchronicity, I finally wised up to how going more publicly forward-facing would be a much better way of serving people.
And for someone who spent her career behind the camera rather than in front of it, I’ve kinda been dragged along, kicking and screaming to the point where I finally realized that my resistance was an exercise in futility.
And here we are. Somewhat late but here, nonetheless.
Producing a podcast designed as a platform for unscripted conversations around authenticity, confidence, self-trust, uncertainty, and the relational dynamics between them.
A podcast designed to inspire and empower its listeners by sharing our own very real and raw experiences dealing with these issues that challenge all of us at some point in our lives.
Not a podcast designed to promote ourselves and the transactional services we offer but one designed to serve others without predicating it on financial potentialities.
If you’re cool with that, I want you. Doesn’t matter who you are, what you do, where you live, or when you were born. I want you.
So come on. Let’s go. It’s time. We’re needed.
I’m excited to have you as a guest on my podcast where, I’m sure, we’re gonna have a conversation that will inspire and empower our listeners to discover their own confidence, self-trust and joy in being authentic one slap at a time without ever having to go anywhere near Hollywood…
